SMS Program
What El Mexicano Grille Rewards texts you, how you opted in, and how to stop.
The program
El Mexicano Grille Rewards is the loyalty program for El Mexicano Grille restaurants, operated by Mexicano Grille Software LLC. Members earn Taco Points by scanning receipts and redeem them for food rewards. The program communicates by text message (SMS) to the phone number you provide at signup.
Messages we send
Two kinds, each with its own consent:
- Account notifications— a one-time sign-in code when you sign up or sign in, a confirmation each time you earn points, a confirmation each time you redeem a reward, and a notice if a redemption is voided and your points are returned. You consent to these by entering your phone number at signup and tapping “Send code” beneath the displayed consent language.
- Occasional offers and updates — sent only if you check the separate marketing box at signup. That box is unchecked by default, and declining it does not affect your rewards account.
Message frequency varies — account notifications are triggered by your own activity (a signup, an earn, a redemption). Message and data rates may apply.
How you opt in
Opt-in happens in one place: the signup screen at elmexicanogrille.com/signup. You type your phone number yourself and tap “Send code” under a consent notice describing these messages. Nobody else can opt you in — not a cashier, not another customer — because completing signup requires entering the one-time code sent to your phone. Marketing texts require the additional checkbox described above.
How you opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from the program. We confirm once, then send nothing further. Reply START to rejoin, and HELP for program info and support contact at any time. You can also email support@elmexicanogrille.com.
